Belinda Tello, President and CEO
Belinda is the first ‘non-Ment’ family member in the company’s 89-year history to hold this position. From the helm of this major metals contracting firm, she carries out all executive and policy making responsibilities for corporate affairs and presides over all operational aspects of the business from bids, contract execution, design, detailing, procurement, production, installation and close-out. By designing and implementing performance and evaluation systems, the corporate management team is able to track progress and productivity of the company’s contracts. This enables short term objectives to be met and long term business strategies to be planned.
Prior to joining Ment Brothers, Belinda spent 10 years developing and managing the design and analysis of structural systems for new building construction and retrofits of existing structures at the Cantor Seinuk Group, PC (now WSP).
She holds both a Bachelor and Master of Engineering degree from The Cooper Union School of Engineering and has additional MBA course credits from New York University/ Stern School of Business.
